Guide Services Available

I provide a unique guide service to New York.

When doing a trip to NY for some of the largest browns in the USA I take care of  everything for you. Hotel, transportation from and to the airport, transportation to and from fishing, and gear. You can use your own gear if you choose. The Gear: rods are custom built by myself, Solitude fly reels, Jim Teeny or Rio fly lines and I tie the flies. I also provide certain beverages on the river. You can choose between water, Saranac Beer or Cruzan Rum for celebrating your first big fish of the trip.

In Michigan I offer fly fishing trip for smallmouth bass via kayak. With that comes the opportunity to get a pike or even a musky on the fly. Smallmouth trips are on a local lake in Kalamazoo or the Kalamazoo river.

Cost for a smallie trip is $275 for 1/2 day (6am to noon) and 425 for a full day (6am to 5pm). Lunch is provided for all full day trips.

When it comes to the lake run browns in NY the trip min is 2 days. It’s fly fishing only on my trips and catch and release. I take photos and videos for you and you can of course take your own photos.

The average brown is 5+ lbs and 15lb fish are possible. Steelhead are also in the river along with Atlantic Salmon, King Salmon and an occasional Lake Trout.

Lodging is clean and comfortable.

 Per person cost is:

$575 per day for the first 3 days and $525 per day when booking for 4 days or more.
